On the night of 11 February 2026, a Russian drone hit a private home in the city of Bohodukhiv in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region. Trapped under the rubble were a 34-year-old man, a two-year-old girl and two one-year-old boys, said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the regional military administration. They could not be saved.
The children’s mother, a 35-year-old pregnant woman, suffered injuries, burns and a traumatic brain injury, the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office said.
On the same night, Russian forces also attacked an infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia with drones, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration. Around 11,000 residents were left without electricity.
